Where assets live
In the left sidebar, select Marketing Assets. This opens your program’s asset library, where every asset you’ve created is listed. From here you add new assets, organise them into folders, and control who can see each one. On the other side, your affiliates see these same materials on the Assets page inside their affiliate portal — the dashboard they log in to. Anything you publish and make visible to them shows up there for them to view, copy, or download. What an asset is
An asset is a single item in your library — for example “Launch week banners” or “Brand colours”. Each asset has:- A main title and a short description that tell affiliates what it is and how to use it.
- One or more content items inside it — the actual files, links, or colours. A banner asset might hold several banner images in different sizes; a video asset might hold one demo clip. You can keep adding content items to the same asset so related materials stay together.
- A type that decides what kind of content it holds and how it appears to affiliates.
Asset types
When you create an asset you first pick its type. The type shapes what you can add and how affiliates interact with it:- General — a flexible asset for anything that doesn’t fit the other types, such as a media kit or a set of images.
- Banner — promotional images for social media and websites.
- Colour scheme — your official brand colours, so affiliates stay on-brand.
- Accordion — expandable sections for organising longer content like guidelines or FAQs.
- Link — a URL you want affiliates to share or reference.
- Video — a YouTube video for tutorials or promos.
Add content and files
Open an asset to add its content. Depending on the type you can give each content item its own title and description, then attach what affiliates need — upload an image, add a downloadable ZIP or PDF, paste a link or YouTube URL, or add brand colours. When you upload an image you can also turn on Downloadable so affiliates can save the file itself, not just view it.Organise with folders
As your library grows, folders keep it tidy. Group assets by campaign, by channel, or by affiliate tier, and nest folders inside one another for more structure. Affiliates browse the same folders in their portal, so a clear layout helps them find the right material fast. See Organise assets in folders.Choose who sees each asset
By default an asset is available to your affiliates, but you can narrow that down per asset:- Only show to these affiliates — limit an asset to specific people, handy for materials meant for a single partner.
- Only show to these affiliate groups — limit it to one or more groups, so, for example, only your top tier gets an exclusive banner set.
How affiliates use assets
On their Assets page, affiliates open a folder, pick an asset, and get exactly what you gave them — they can preview a banner, copy a link, watch a video, copy a colour value, or download a file when you’ve made it downloadable. Because everything points back to your library, updating an asset here updates it for every affiliate at once.Share an asset directly
Beyond the library, you can also drop an asset straight into a conversation. When you message an affiliate, you can attach an asset so they get it in context — useful when you want a specific partner to run a specific promotion.Related
