See what’s on offer
In the left sidebar of the affiliate portal, select Performance Bonuses. Bonuses you’re still working towards appear under In Progress. Ones you’ve already earned move to Completed below them. If the page says there are no bonuses available, the brand either hasn’t set one up or hasn’t opened this one to you.Read a bonus card
Each card tells you the whole deal in a few lines. The sentence in the middle is the one that matters. It reads something like Earn 500 USD bonus when you refer 25 customers between Mar 1st, 2026 and Apr 30th, 2026, and it spells out the reward, the target and the window in one go. Underneath it is your progress bar, showing where you are against the target and the same thing as a percentage. At the bottom right is what you’ll get. Select any card to open the full view, with the brand’s description, the goal, the reward and the dates laid out.Understand what’s being counted
A bonus measures one of three things, and the goal sentence names it:
Revenue bonuses are the ones people misread. The target is the money the brand takes, not the money you take, so a 10,000 USD revenue target is reached long before you’ve earned 10,000 USD yourself.
Check which activity counts
This is the other detail worth reading twice, and the wording of the goal sentence gives it away.- “in total” means everything you’ve ever done in this program counts. If you’ve already passed the target, you may qualify the moment the bonus appears.
- “after” a date, or “between” two dates, means the clock starts then. Anything you referred before that date doesn’t count towards this one.
Watch your progress
Your progress bar updates as your referrals and sales come in, so you don’t have to do anything to keep it current. Come back to the page whenever you want to see where you are. A couple of things to expect:- Progress follows approved activity. A sale that’s still being processed or that gets refunded won’t hold its place on the bar.
- Progress is per program. Only what you’ve done in this program counts towards its bonuses.
Collect the bonus
When you cross the target, the bonus is awarded to you without you having to claim it. The card moves to Completed, picks up a green pill, and shows the date you earned it. Open it and you’ll see a Bonus earned banner with the same date. The amount then shows up in Rewards alongside your commissions, and goes out with your next payout on the program’s normal schedule. See how you get paid. Each bonus can be earned once. Passing the target again doesn’t pay it twice. Brands who want a repeatable incentive usually run a series of bonuses with rising targets instead.
Why another affiliate sees different bonuses
Brands can offer a bonus to everyone, to particular affiliate groups, or to named individuals. A top-tier partner may have a bonus in their portal that isn’t in yours, and one built for a single partner won’t appear for anyone else. If you heard about a bonus you can’t find, that’s usually the reason. Ask your program manager whether you’re included.Get told when a new bonus appears
You can be notified when a brand launches one. In Settings, open the Preferences tab, and you’ll find Performance Bonus Announcements under email notifications and New Bonus Available under in-app notifications. Worth leaving on. Bonuses with a short window are easy to miss otherwise. More in your notifications.Bonuses and milestones aren’t the same thing
Both reward you for hitting numbers, but what you get is different.
To see your milestones, open My Commission Plan from Quick Links on your dashboard, then View All Milestones. It shows every milestone, what each one needs, and the plan it upgrades you to.
A milestone is usually the bigger prize over time. A bonus is the faster one.
If you promote several programs
Bonuses belong to the program that created them, so there’s no combined view. From the Influencer dashboard at influencers.referly.so, open My Programs and select Go to program, then Performance Bonuses in that portal’s sidebar. See your programs.Related
