From a referral to a payout
Every reward you earn travels the same path:- Someone uses your link or promo code. Referly records the click and remembers it for the program’s cookie window, so the sale still counts if they come back and buy a few days later.
- A sale is recorded. When your referred visitor signs up or pays, the program’s tracking sends that sale to Referly and ties it to you.
- A reward is created. Referly applies your commission plan to the sale and works out what you earned, whether that’s cash, a coupon, or store credits.
- The reward is approved. Most programs approve rewards automatically. Some review them first, in which case your reward sits at On Hold until they accept it.
- The holding period passes. Many programs hold approved earnings for a set number of days, which gives them a window to catch refunds and chargebacks before money goes out. Your reward simply waits until it has aged past that window.
- The reward is gathered into a payout. On the program’s payout schedule, all of your eligible earnings are collected into a single payout. If the program has a minimum payout amount and you haven’t reached it, your earnings stay put and roll into a later payout instead.
- The payout is paid. The money is sent using the payout method you set up, or your coupon or credits are delivered.
Where to see your earnings
Open Payouts in the left sidebar of your affiliate portal. Four cards at the top summarize everything:- Total Earned — everything you’ve earned in this program, for all periods, whether or not it’s been paid yet.
- Total Paid — how much has actually reached you so far.
- Next Payout — the amount already gathered into a payout that hasn’t been sent yet, with an Est. pay date underneath it. If the program creates payouts by hand instead of on a schedule, that date shows as Unknown.
- Last Payout — your most recent completed payout.
Follow a single reward
The Payouts page tracks money that’s already on its way. To follow an individual sale, open Rewards in the left sidebar. Each row has two status columns, and they answer two different questions. Status tells you whether the reward has been approved:- Accepted — approved, and it can be included in a payout.
- On Hold — the program still has to review it. It won’t be paid until they accept it.
- Declined — the program rejected this reward.
- Refunded — the customer’s purchase was refunded, so the reward won’t be paid.
- Unpaid — you haven’t been paid for this reward yet.
- Payout Created — it’s been gathered into a payout that hasn’t been paid out yet.
- Paid — the money has been sent.
What each payout status means
In your payout history, the Status column follows the payout itself rather than the individual rewards inside it:A payout showing Paid means the program has sent the money. Depending on your country and payout method, it can still take a few business days to appear in your account.
Open a payout for the full breakdown
Select any row in your payout history to open its details. There are two tabs:- Transfer Status follows the payment through a timeline: Created, Processing, Sent, and Delivered, so you can see exactly where it is.
- Payout Details lists the amount, payment method, status, and period, then shows Included Rewards — every individual sale that makes up this payout, with the customer, the revenue, and what you earned on it.
Set up how you want to be paid
You can’t change the schedule, but you do control where the money goes. Go to Settings in the left sidebar and open the Payouts tab:- Cash payouts — choose your payment method and enter the details the program needs to pay you.
- Non-cash payouts — see the coupons and credits you’ve earned and how they reach you.
- Invoice details — add the business or personal details that appear on your payout invoices.
Seeing every program in one place
If you promote several programs, you don’t have to check each portal separately. Sign in to the Influencer dashboard atinfluencers.referly.so with the same email you use for your programs, and open Payouts there.
It looks like the payouts page you already know, with one difference: the summary cards add up your earnings across every program you’ve joined, and the history table gains a Program column so you can tell at a glance which program each payout came from.
You still get paid by each program separately, on each program’s own schedule. The Influencer dashboard is there so you can see the whole picture without switching accounts. See My programs for more on managing several programs at once.
